Camp outside at the biggest Scout Centre in Scandinavia
Big camps or small camps? The campsites at the centre differ in sizes therefore you can visit the centre as a small group or big group of more than 1000 scouts.
In 2019 it will be possible for rovers in small groups to stay at a Rover Camp area with other Rovers. Here you can meet Rovers from other countries while you are staying in your own campsite.
Bring your own tents for camping at Houens Odde or rent the tents and equipment you need.
(Please note, we offer a limited number of tents and equipment, so please ask in advance to make sure you get the equipment you need.)
You can join one of the centre camps in July or you can book a campsite and plan your own camp.
The camp fee covers firewood, pioneering poles, cooling room facilities and access to toilets and showers.
If you come to Houens Odde on your own you can book some activities - canoes, kayaks, building rafts, orienteering, hiking, axe throwing, archery and teambuilding. You can also get information about trips and attractions.
Book the activities and equipment in advance at the centre office. Here you can also ask if other activities are available.
You must go shopping for food yourselves. The nearest supermarket is about 6 km away from the campsites.
