Centre Summer Camps 2026
No classic centre summer camps in 2026
Due to construction of a new Activity Centre during the 2026 season (planned to open in summer 2027) – and due to the the National Scout Jamboree SPEJDERNES LEJR taking place at Hedeland (Zealand region) in week 30 (July 18.-25.) unfortunately we do not offer classic centre summer camps in 2026. Thank you for your understanding.
In week 29: July 11th. – 18th. we offer a SPEJDERNES LEJR precamp at the camping ground at the Stensgaarden facility. More information on this will be available soon here at the website.
You are still able to create your own camp at Houens Odde, as most of our camp sites are available still. Please contact our centre office, for inquiries regarding own camps and possible activities.

Goodbye to the Activity Centre
– hello and welcome to “The Circle”

Since 1974, countless centre summer camps and other events have been held at and around the Activity Center. In the fall of 2025, we have finally said goodbye to the buildings, after many years of faithful scouting service. In the early summer of 2027, we will open the doors to brand new buildings, which will form the new base for our centre summer camps and a lot of other events.
The construction process means that in 2026, centre summer camps will be held on the Stensgården grounds. Since 2026 is also a National Jamboree year, we do not offer classic Centre Summer Camps. But from 2027 we look forward to welcoming you at our centre camps and other events, in brand new facilities.
The construction will consist of 3 locations: The Forest, the Fjord and the Marsh.
In the “Forest” there will be living and overnight facilities. Kitchen, bathroom, toilet, depots, drying room, cooling facilities and a nature education room.
The “Fjord” will form the framework for the activities on the water.
The “Marsh” will be the base for the creative craft and craft activities, and can also function as a flexible activity platform and overnight place in the open air.
